Martha Marmo-Fernandes

Martha started Rowen Concrete fifteen years ago after a career in financial services. Her focus is providing strategic and fiscal leadership for Rowen. Martha received her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and her Bachelor of Arts from American University. Martha has several professional and industry designations including her Plant Technician certification through the Maryland State Highway Administration and her Plant Manager certification through the National Ready Mix Concrete Association.
Toni Alexander

Through his 30+ years in the Ready-Mix Concrete industry, Toni is seasoned in all aspects of the business, including management/administration, practical aspects of all equipment. He is also well versed in the mechanical & practical aspects of concrete mix design. Throughout his career he has had a part in maintaining fleets of concrete trucks and managing the concrete truck operators. His professional credentials include American Concrete Institute (ACI) Training Course Level I and Concrete Manufacturing Plant Certification from the State Highway Administration. He is currently serving as the Vice President of the MD ACI chapter.
Mike Roney

Mike has 20+ years of experience in the production of Ready Mix Concrete, most of which have been in Quality Assurance/Quality Control and Sales. His vast knowledge of concrete mix proportioning and materials along with plant operations make him an asset to Rowen Concrete. Being detail oriented he constantly strives for consistency and quality. His credentials include the Certified Concrete Technologist Level III, MDSHA Concrete Plant Technician, NRMCA Pervious Concrete Technician, ACI Concrete Strength Testing, and ACI Course Level 1 . He can be counted on to do whatever it takes to get the job done correctly and efficiently.
Mike Robertson
Operations Manager
Mike joined the Rowen team in February 2015 after a career in the steel manufacturing industry. Mike was brought onboard to manage and oversee Rowen’s largest project to date, the BRWWTP. Since Mike’s arrival his responsibilities have branched out to managing our staff, formulating concrete mix designs, pricing products/materials for customers, and running the day-to-day operations of the company with General Manager, Toni Alexander. Mike’s in the field experience along with his management, administrative, and leadership skills bring a very versatile dynamic to the company. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UMUC, and his Associate of Arts in Business Administration from CCBC. His professional credentials include American Concrete Institute (ACI) Training Course Level 1, MDSHA Concrete Plant Technician, and OSHA 30 certification.
Shawn Santoro
Sales
Shawn been in the ready-mix concrete industry for over 20 years. Starting out as a customer service representative she then moved up to dispatcher. She then made the move to our sales team, a position she has been in for over 5 years. Shawn has excelled in handling quotes, pricing for company products, and product knowledge. Throughout her career in the industry, she has supervised and coordinated activities of workers engaged in manufacturing concrete products and delivering ready-mix concrete.
Angela Reed

Angela joined Rowen in 2015 with over 15 years of accounting experience in the construction industry. Before joining Rowen, Angela worked as the accounting manager for a building supply company in Florida for over ten years. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of A/R, A/P, General Ledger accounting and payroll functions. She recently received her Plant Technician certification through the Maryland State Highway Administration and is continually gaining knowledge about the concrete industry.
